${\mathbb{T}\mathbb{F}\mathbb{J}\mathbb{M}}^2$ – Tournoi Français des Jeunes Mathématiciennes et Mathématiciens
Jury member · High-school research competition
The ${\mathbb{T}\mathbb{F}\mathbb{J}\mathbb{M}}^2$ is a national mathematics tournament in which high-school students investigate open research problems over several months and defend their results orally. As a jury member for the Montpellier regional round, I assessed their mathematical reasoning, communication and teamwork, and challenged the teams through critical discussion.

MathC2+ program - Mastering games with Mathematics
Supervision of high-school interns
A three-day exploration of the mathematics behind Tic-Tac-Toe, Mastermind and Spot It! Students moved from game theory and optimal strategies to Knuth’s algorithm, combinatorial designs and projective geometry. They concluded by writing code to generate a personalized Spot It! card game.

MATh.en.JEANS congress - Promoting mathematical research to high-schoolers
Supervised by Louise Nyssen · IMAG & IRES
MATh.en.JEANS introduces young students to mathematical research through year-long workshops led by researchers and teachers. At the national congress, students present their results, compare ideas with partner schools and experience collective research beyond the usual classroom setting.

MathC2+ program - Mathematics and Modeling
Supervision of high-school participants
A practical introduction to applied mathematics, modeling and scientific computing. Through free-fall experiments and miniature catapults, students explored kinematics, optimization and the bisection, Newton and secant methods, before implementing numerical solutions of the quadratic equation in Python.

Introduction to Applied Mathematics
Supervision of ninth-grade interns
Using the example of two trains travelling towards each other, students modeled a concrete motion problem and determined their meeting time analytically and numerically. We then implemented the bisection method and introduced basic programming concepts to connect mathematics with computation.

With Benjamin Charlier and Tristan Xabada
In collaboration with the IREM, we visited schools in Lozère to introduce mathematics-related careers and discuss our research topics and academic paths. Benjamin Charlier works in probability and statistics at IMAG; Tristan Xabada is a Ph.D. student in biophysics at L2C and CBS.
